How to stay motivated to workout?

Dedication will help you see the results you crave!

The answer we all want to know, but sadly the answer isn’t what we often want to hear. We will never be motivated to work out all of the time. If you rely on motivation to ensure you make it to the gym, and hit your macros, then you will constantly not be showing up.

In some periods of life your motivation will be sky high. You’ll be ecstatic to go to the gym, to crush your workouts, to stick to your meal plan. But at other points you’ll be dragging your butt to the gym or skipping your workout all together.


So what do you do when your motivation is lacking? Dedication! Dedication will keep you showing up to the gym, eating your meals, and making strides towards your goals even when your motivation is nowhere to be found.

Remember your why. Why did you get into this lifestyle? Why is it important for you to work out and eat healthy? For me, I want to live a healthy, active life because that is what makes me feel my best physically and mentally. Even on days when I dread going to the gym, I know that once I complete the workout I will feel 1000x better, and be thankful that I did it. It is true when they say, no one ever regrets a workout.

Know your why and use it to keep pushing you forward! Dedication > Motivation
